When submitting their manuscript, authors should not list AI tools as a co-author, as AI tools cannot assume responsibility for authorship.

Authors may use AI technologies as research tools in the preparation of their manuscripts to assist with data analysis, language editing, exploring concepts, organizing references or helping structure your paper.

How to include AI statement

If you use AI tools, you must declare it in your manuscript. Statements should typically be placed in the acknowledgements, methods, or a dedicated AI Usage Disclosure section in the interest of transparency, reliability, and integrity.
