About The Ethiopian Journal of Behavioral Studies

The mission of Ethiopian Journal of Behavioral Studies (EJoBS) is to advance the field of Behavioral Studies in Ethiopia through publication of peer reviewed original, scholarly articles, reviews, and communications of ideas with in educational and social settings.

The Journal

The journal is owned by the College of Education and Behavioral Studies, School of Psychology

Ethiopian Journal of Behavioral Studies (EJoBS) is a bi-annual Journal.

The journal shall appear in hard copies as well as electronic versions

Scope

  • Feature Articles, which are full-length articles that focus on a theoretically driven empirical contribution (all
  • Research strategies and methods, quantitative and qualitative, are considered) or on a theoretical contribution that can shape the future.
  • Meta-analytic studies and desk reviews with important contributions highlighting developments and gaps in a certain field of behavioral studies.
  • Research or studies which replicate a formerly-published work.

Periodicity

Ethiopian Journal of Behavioral Studies shall be published in two editions annually as ‘September’ and ‘March’ editions, in line with the status of a “Refereed Journal” as of 2016.

 Ethiopian Journal of Behavioral Studies may be published as Special Edition if necessary depending on the recommendation of the School and the Editorial Board.

Copyright

The copy right of papers translations or any other documents related to papers published in the Journal belongs to the Journal.

The author agrees to transfer all copy rights of the paper he/she has written to EJoBS regarding his/her paper which has been approved to be published in the Journal.

Language

Language of publication is English. However works written in Amharic may also be published under special conditions.
