Abstract

This study gives empirical results about the academic performance of four batches of graduates from the natural science streams of the Faculty of Science, Addis Ababa University. The purpose of the undertaking was to see if there was any difference in the dispersion of grade distribution of students in the teacher and non-teacher streams in the Faculty in maj9r subject areas and in overall performance. The results showed that there were no variations in the performance of the two categories of students. This was invariably true for all batches, and for all subject areas.
