Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Authors submitting book reviews should ensure that their review provides a clear, critical, and insightful evaluation of the book. The review should help readers understand the book’s contributions, strengths, and limitations within the broader field of education and related areas.
Guidelines for Authors
- Relevance: The book reviewed must be related to education or a closely associated field.
- Length: The review should not exceed five (5) pages.
- Book Information: The review must include the book’s title, author(s), publication details (publisher, year, edition, etc.), and a brief introduction.
- Content Overview: The review should summarize the book’s subject matter, key themes, and the author’s main arguments or thesis.
- Academic Context: The review should discuss the book’s relevance to the field, its contribution to existing knowledge, and how it advances, modifies, or challenges scholarly discussions.
- Critical Engagement: Authors are encouraged to incorporate relevant quotations, key findings, or notable insights from the book to support their analysis.
- Argumentation: The review should present a well-reasoned critique, based on solid evidence and rigorous analysis.
- Evaluation: The review should assess the book’s strengths, usefulness, and contributions while also identifying any limitations or areas for improvement.
Submission Requirements
- The review should be written in clear, academic language.
- Proper citations should be included where necessary.
- The review should maintain a balanced and objective perspective.
- Authors should adhere to the journal’s formatting and referencing guidelines.
Book reviews that meet these criteria will be considered for publication, offering valuable insights to scholars, educators, and researchers in the field.
