Abstract

Debates about superiority or inferiority of qualitative and/or
quantitative research approaches have been common academic
practices among both Natural and social science research
methodologists. However, none of these groups appear to be
successful enough in producing accounts that their preference is
superior to the other. In this short essay, I am attempting to explain
the nature and use of qualitative research in general and in education
in particular.
