The Ethiopian Journal of Police Studies (EJPoS), hosted by the Ethiopian Police University, is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research studies, theoretical overviews, comprehensive reviews, and articles that address the dynamic landscape of police practice. The journal aims to elucidate pressing policing issues relevant to Ethiopia, the African continent, and the global community.

EJPoS invites policing practitioners and academic researchers to submit manuscripts that focus on real-world policing issues, including but not limited to policing models and approaches, transnational organized crime, terrorism, crime and victimization, criminal justice, human rights, police management, crime prevention, forensics, cybercrime, and other policing and criminal justice-related issues. The journal emphasizes the significance of empirical and methodological contributions with a strong focus on evidence-based empirical research that examines crime and public safety-related issues in Ethiopia and beyond. We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting submissions for Volume 1, Issue II, in accordance with the guidelines mentioned in the journal’s author guidelines https://ejol.aau.edu.et/index.php/ejps/about/submissions.
