Abstract

Spatial Ability as a Separate Factor of Intelligence
Two theories have dominated the psychometric conception of
intelligence. The first view was advanced by Spearman.
Psychometrics was essentially the invention of Spearman, who, in
1904, published a paper that contained all the basic psychometric
reasoning about the nature of intelligence. As Kline (1991) put the
