Abstract

Traditionally, teaching-learning was referred to as
pedagogy, the art and science of teaching children. In the
present era, the strategies of teaching and learning are
highly influenced by andragogy, the art and science of
helping adults learn.
Of course, in any school (colleges, universities, schools,
etc.), we often witness teaching activity being conducted in
front of students. It is, however, hardly known whether or not
learning has taken place. It is not also easy to observe it. It
is also a common sense that there CQuid be teaching without
learning and learning without teaching. We are, however,
interested in teaching that results in learning.
